Description of project:
Design, delivery and evaluation of two, four week courses for Thai Government officials on Environmental Planning and Management.

The outcomes of the program include:

• Participants to develop conceptual and technical skills in environmental assessment and planning for effective natural resource development and environmental protection.
• The course covered key concepts and principles, tools and techniques, assessment and planning practice in Australia, and major case studies allowing comparison between Australian and Thai approaches.

Services provided:
The program delivery was built around presentations from well-respected experts in environmental assessment and planning, with excursions to Canberra, Western Sydney, Hunter Valley and other Sydney sites, and tutorial/syndicate work which allowed exploration of course material in small study groups.
