Description of project:
Under an Asian Development Bank Loan, the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture is strengthening the institutional capacity of regional universities by providing academic staff with overseas postgraduate scholarships. By the end of the Project, about fifty Indonesian academic staff will have completed PhD and Masters degrees at UNSW and other Australian universities.

Services provided:

• Course development, including identifying candidates in Indonesia, assessment of English levels and making individual recommendations
• The course covered key concepts and principles, tools and techniques, assessment and planning practice in Australia, and major case studies allowing comparison between Australian and Thai approaches.
• Ongoing supervision from a large number of academic staff for the candidates' full time study programs
